We stopped in here in a Sunday morning when we were unable to get a table at our first choice. I’m so glad we did! White Rose is a quaint “mom and pop” feel diner with an extensive menu. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. We will be back.
The food was excellent and was highly recommended by a friend we were visiting who lives in the area. She was right! Very good, classic diner food. The food also came out to us very quickly, maybe 5-8 minutes. The Biscuits and Gravy and the Open-faced Roast Beef Sandwich were great! The French Toast was a bit small and dry, but tasted great! Our server, Trinity, provided very friendly service, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were still satisfied. We also sat around to let our food settle, since there weren't many other customers in there, and she did not try to rush us out. The atmosphere is great, as it seems like mostly only locals come there. We're glad our friend clued us in on this hidden gem! We'll definitely be coming back, next time we're in the area!
Another local restaurant that brought their A Game, the Saturday morning after the tornado. St. Clair had no power and people going out to eat a hot meal. White Rose got slammed with endless supply of customers. The entire staff pulled it together and gave great customer service and food as fast as humanly possible. Big shout out to all the workers. Great food, prices and customer service!!!!!
Adorable little spot with great food! I had the spaghetti in the garlic toast was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how crispy it was! My friends got the breakfast and the dinner horseshoe and they were raving about it and ended up ordering two more horseshoes to go. We will be back!
